Hello, My name is Yuval Halevy

A little about me

Designer at heart, I love everything playful and creative. As a product designer, I specialize in turning complex ideas into intuitive human experiences that are both fun and easy to use. My work spans both military and civilian sectors, where I bring a mix of technical expertise and an obsessive attention to detail to solve tough challenges.

Right now, I’m leading a fantastic team of designers at Studio 08:15 in Tel Aviv. I’m always looking for smart, simple solutions that work in high-stakes environments where getting it right really matters. Outside of work, I also enjoy drawing, photography, NBA, animation, and laughter.

Experience

Product Design Team Lead, Studio 0815

2022 - Present

Studio 0815 is a UX/UI Digital Strategy Agency with expertise in the Military and defense sector.

-Led a team of designers and oversaw the complete design process of complex information systems, from concept to completion and afterwards into continuous monitoring the development. Solving UX problems and creating intuitive solutions while keeping pixel-perfect standards, fine visuals and meeting tight deadlines.

-Worked closely with PMs and dev teams.

-Conducted competitive analysis, user research and various testings.

-Collaborated with high-profile clients, including Elbit Systems, the IDF alongside various civilian projects.

Product Designer, Studio 0815

2021 - 2022

Created concepts, wireframes and beautifully detailed designs as part of the user interface for various military and civilian projects.

UX/UI Designer, Freelance

2018 - 2021

Working with various clients on a wide array of projects and initiatives specializing in brand identity, research, prototyping and web design. Worked with digital tools such as Illustrator, Figma and Webflow but also a pen, paper and camera.

Mentor (Voluntary)

2020 - Present

I've been actively involved in the H.I.T. student mentoring program, offering weekly guidance and insights to small groups of 1st and 2nd-year design students. It's rewarding to create a fun and engaging design environment where learning is completely mutual.
